As you have an MX4002 in your bedroom, I don't see any other options available to you.

Must buy a newer flatscreen for the bedroom then :) The Beo4 can be put in an "always" linkmode, which means that every command gets the link command send first.

With the Beo5 you could go into the service menu and set into "Dealer Mode" which will reduce the range of teh IR signal and you can also get a "cap" for the Beo4 which does the same function.

To set the Beo5 to "Dealer Mode" do the following:-

Press the RED (Standby) and centre GO at the same time

Press the soft button for numbers then press 0 0 GO

Press "Dealer Opt"

Press Dealer Mode

Hi Keith

Yes i am aware of this, but it is not a "nice" solution i think, is there no other way ?

The common way to solve this problem is set the Link TV to V.Option 4. It will only react to LINK commands.

So TV would be picked up by the main TV, while LINK TV would be picked up by the MX4002.

Unfortunately, I could not set my MX4002 to V.OPT 4, it only support 5 and 6.

MX4002 and BV4 in "the same room" ?

Hi, I have a MX4002 in my bedroom, and a BV4-50 in the livingroom, the problem is that the BV4 will pickup the signals from my beo4, and the MX4002 will pickup the signals from my Beo5. There is a door between the 2 rooms, but it is hardly ever closed.

Is there anyway of controlling this ? What should the options be on the 2 tv sets, and could i possibly just change the configuration of my beo5, and set the BV4 in linkmode, and send a link command from the Beo5 with each command ?

Any ideas ?
