Since you state that the BC3 is showing the Caller ID correctly and the BC1 isn't, it seems indeed as if the software in the BeoLine does not do the job correctly. I would contact your local dealer regarding the problem and let him take contact to B&O. Maybe B&O already knows about the problem or maybe they will try to investigate what the problem is. This would not be the first time they would do such investigations.

So - try out your local dealer and let us know.

I connected a Vonage line to Line 1 and an analog PSTN line to Line 2. I don't get Caller ID on either line except for one call in the last 10 days.

I bought these phones (3 Beocom 1 and 1 Beocom Base) in December 2008 in the US. I am currently living in India, but the fact that neither the Vonage (US) line nor the local line work with Called ID is a bad thing.

Does anyone have a solution to this ? Customer service in the US did not have a clue and the Bangalore B&O store did not either.

We just recently switched one of the lines to Verizon fiber optic line and now have the following problem: no caller id is showing on this line, though it does show on the second line (not fiber optic) and even if you are using call waiting on the first line the caller id would show. We have also BeoCom3 2-lines phone and this one doesn't have problem with caller id. Of course called Verizon, had couple of technicians trying to resolve the problem but only were told that the problem is with BO software.
