Have now checked th line with an other phone, same problem.

So no Beocom blame, must be the phoneline itself.

Now comes the difficult part, getting hold of someone at my telephone service provider.

Hello everyone,

I have the following problem with my Beocom 2.

When called, it rings only once. If you pick it up, there is connection, but with a 'crackling' background noise.

The caller hears this noise as well, even before the phone is picked up from its charger.

Calling the phone when it's off the charger, it also rings only once, but then that's it, no more connection.

Anyone an idea what this might be?
