If this is your first master link product it's just to connect a master link cable (available in different lengths) between the BeoSound and the Beolink active. To the Beolink active you'll connect the speakers and ir eye (known as the hockey puck).

All you need is available both new from your dealer, or used on ebay etc.

Re: Two stets of BeoLab2500's

What would be the cost of a B&O Active link set up not includeing the price of the speakers??

If you want the second set of BeoLab 2500s in another room, then a BeoLink Active is what you want. It will 'link' to your Overture with a MasterLink cable (available from B&O stores, but ideally one would be wired to exactly the right length by an installer) and connects to your BeoLab 2500s via PowerLink.

Re: Two stets of BeoLab2500's

The additional speakers would be located in a seperate room.

The same thing as listening to a mono track through stereo speaker setup. Experimenting with speaker placement may or may not solve that, give it a try and see how it works - for plain background music this rarely is an issue.

Re: Two stets of BeoLab2500's

Heya
