&lt;p&gt;joeyboygolf is correct, you need to use the Masterlink input to the Beolink passive.&amp;nbsp; Masterlink cables don&amp;#39;t have to just run &amp;quot;point-to-point&amp;quot;, they can be cut and joined using junction boxes to allow multiple connections in different rooms.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;why&amp;nbsp;not connect the second beolink passive with master link ? &amp;nbsp;if you want the speakers to be independant, i belive that they will need a master link connection.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;I have a beosound overture running passive speakers in one room through a beolink passive. I now want to run a second pair of passive speakers in another room independantly using another beolink passive and an ir sensor. I have connected the second&amp;nbsp;beolink passive the ouverture using a powerlink 3 cable.all the speakers in both rooms are working fine when the ouverture is turned on at source, however i can&amp;#39;t seem to get the second beolink passive to work indepenantly using the ir sensor. does anyone have the answer. &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
