Now, with a new speakers (Magnepan 1.6s) and new amp &amp; preamp - am going back to vinyl. I wonder how my B&amp;O turntable compares with present day turntables - enough increase in quality to justify spending $1000 to $1500 for a new turntable and cartridge? No way to compare where I live - we have no high end hifi dealers. My new amp and preamp are Vincents - so my system is mid-fy. I have a large collection of classical vinyl. For the time being, for vinyl sound, I am using a Tandberg 3012 integrated that has a phono stage. Plan to buy a Jolida J9 in the future. Any ideas appreciated.
