The 4500 and 7000 would have the advantage of being remote control though.

Re: New member - Audio Aux Link query....

Good point King of Snake,

I purchased my own BeoSystem 3500 from Ian at MoreThan AV and I have been very happy with this and the service I received. I've also dealt with Iconic AV and I can recommend them very highly.

Best regards,

I had thought about a Beogram... might be worth a trawl through Ebay to see what's around. I've noticed a couple of BG4500s in the past few weeks... would match the 9300 nicely :-)

Re: New member - Audio Aux Link query....

Not quite that simple - you will need a Beolink converter box as the BV3 does not use Audio Aux but Masterlink. Small black box which converts Audio Aux to Masterlink. However once added, it works seamlessly. Known as the 1611 box.

RIAA stages are availble from either Lifestyle AV or Sounds Heavenly.

Welcome to Beoworld!

By the way, have you considered a Beogram? Not so much to play with but elegant and very easy to set up. I use a Beogram 4000 - in fact recording from a 4004 at the minute! We have quite a few Linn converts! They seem to suit older ears!!

New member - Audio Aux Link query....

Hi, I'm new to Beoworld and I'm knocked out by how much knowledge there is among the members of this forum.... Hope that someone might be able to answer what I hope is a simple question....

I have a BV3 and a BC9300... if I want to route sound from TV/V.MEM through the 9300 do I just need the Audio Aux Link lead? In my previous house I had the sound from my Avant 32 running through a BC9500 - but the local B&O dealer set it up and I can't remember what they did! I lost the Avant and the 9500 (and the house!) in a messy divorce... hence the new setup!

Also wondered if anyone had any experience of a good quality phono stage - I used to run a Linn turntable through the 9500 with no probs but of course the 9300 doesn't have the RIAA stage on the phono input....

Thanks in anticipation!
