I expect I will get one handset and whatever it comes on. I love the 6000s and have them all over the house but can't understand why they didn't have speaker-phone years ago!
Beocom 5 (or whatever it's called) is to have speaker-phone and be compatible with the 6000 (alledgedly) so I'm really looking forward to it's release. Hope it's sensibly priced.

Same here. I will probably only be in the market for 1 phone because I already bought the 6000s as you did for the rest of the home. No point buying something I don't need. Thinking about it, I only really need 1 hands free one anyway, I'll just put it in the lounge and make sure that's the one I use more than the others when making calls that I know I'll need hands free for, which is pretty much when phoning any UK company customer services these days ... including B&O!

His base is showing a green light Simon, so it is more likely a missed call.

Don't forget to scroll through the last 24 caller IDs, in case the missed call was number 23!!

PS, when the battery is nearly flat, it gives audible bleeps.

Andy T.

Will you be upgrading to the new phones when they come out later this year Andy? They have hands free which is a welcome albeit quite late edition! I haven't even seen them but I know I will get them as B&O have never made a bad landline phone in my opinion. My dealer has seen them and played with them at the last dealer conference and said they are awesome both in design and functionality.

If the phone is sitting in the charger with the red light flashing this could be the problem, otherwise likely to be a missed call in which case you pick up the handset and press the middle button to view the missed call.

I have a Beocom 6000 handset the triangular base unit shows a green light but the handset is continually flashing red. I have misplaced my user manual and it is driving me bonkers trying to fix it. I thought maybe it is the battery that may need replacing but how would the red light flash if the battery is dead? I think mine may be a

Mark 1 model. Any ideas or tips on how i might fix this please would be very much appreciated. There are some numbers on the base station if it may help they are serial number 106144888225379 the other says park:36-000331417637
