I'm not sure there's much of a business anymore in phones for your home.

I saw statistics over wired phone lines to homes in Finland during the last 10 years, and it's declined to an almost minimum. Young people, say under 40 don't get a home phone line when they buy an apartment. It's all about cell phones. I don't have a home phone. And I will never get one.

I've been thinking about this product for years now, and B&O hasn't come out yet with a project like this.

To me it makes so much sense having a single product for both functions, BeoComs & BeoLink remote controls have so much in common:

- both have the same long & thin shape

- both are battery powered

- both have a screen

- both have a keypad & numbered keys

- imagine a Beo4 with a microphone inside the "O" from Olufsen , a loudspeaker between the screen and the first line with the sources, a backlit coloured display with 3 or 5 lines instead of one, a backlit keypad as well, only 2 batteries instead of 3 (to keep the weight at a reasonable level), a docking base for recharging, is it so hard to build nowadays for people like B&O??
