SORRY one more time

Re: Mono Only on Beosound 9000 and Beolab 6000

nmartin771:

In my case is like this:

When I put left speaker on L and right on R, right is not working ...

But when I put left on L and right on middle position everything is working ok, stereo signal good balance ....

in bouth speakers same case ....

Surely the middle position is RIGHT???

I've just checked a pair

They are connected to BC1 and than ML from BC1 to BS23000

And when I try to setup both speakers L or R sometimes there are not working but when I put them on middle position there are working fine, and it seams to me that they have stereo.

But when I try to adjuste speaker level on BC1 only right is working ?

Re: Mono Only on Beosound 9000 and Beolab 6000

Check by using one P/L cable and one speaker only. Switch the speaker from left to right channel. Sound from both channels?

Now swap either the speaker or the cable and repeat. Carry on until you have checked everything and we can eliminate cables and speakers.

Next I would suspect some sort of M/L problem and suggest that you unplug from the mains for a few minutes before re-connecting.

Let us know what happens!

Mono Only on Beosound 9000 and Beolab 6000

Hi

I have just installed my system after moving home and I have found a problem between the Beosound 9000 and Beolab 6000.

Using the Powerlink cables to connect them together, I can only get the left hand channel, If you select Left on one speaker and Right on the other the right side has no sound.

You have to set them both to the Left for both of them to work, but then of course you hear only the left side of the stereo only.

I have tried them on both connectors seperatly and with them looped through but still get the same results.

If you listen to the other speakers in the link rooms they are all fine.

Has anyone any ideas?

Regards
