The new speakers are clearly designed to lack a display.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The pentas where as made for a display, the Beolab 5000 panels likewise.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

I bought a BL3500 recently mostly for the reason that it had the display. I would have liked to have bought a more up to date model but nothing exists that has a display on it hence why I did not! A well raised point actually, often overlooked. I wonder why they did stop this?&lt;/p&gt;

It is a reasonable alternative to two way communication.
