also, BL 3, BL 8000

I mentioned the BS 3 three because it works as my primary radio tuner. It does a great job as FM receiver.

1) BV-7 40/US. Really just doesn't get enough credit for its balance of incredible performance and interesting design. I think it represents the TV which B&O could not build at the time David Lewis created the Avant. The King is dead, long live the King.

2) BeoLab 5. Everyone else has already explained...but this is about pure performance. For once design was politely asked to take a back seat to engineering, with fabulous results.

2) BeoCom 1/6000. Sadly overlooked here, likely because it is a tool, or 'not a core product'. A perfect 'gateway drug' for those who can't afford, or do not 'get' B&O. I have a set which is now 9 years old...my room-mate got maried a year ago, and is begging me to find a set for him.

In my opinion, BeoLab 5 is the ugliest speaker B&O ever made. Speakers like BeoLab 6000/8000/4000 will benefit your living-room in every situation - if you have old furniture or even if you live modern. Not so the Beolab 5. Its design is to special.

Going for bronze: BeoSound 5 (in my opinion a perfect new audio product!!!! A descent replacement for the BS9000)

Yes I agree, I think the BS5 is a very good first effort from B&O for the digital age. All credit to the designers who have still managed to create a product that gives the user that interaction/touch/feel experience. Very nicely done because I am sure if any of us were to come up with an idea like that we'd be hard pushed to do so. Well done! Equal credit of course also goes to the brilliant minds at B&O that bring those designs into reality. The manufacturing process must also be second to none. What a great package. I have high hopes for the BS5 and I think they are on to a winner. What excites me the most is what is to come.
