I can recall when these were at the local B&O dealerships! The idea was to keep the cost down (thankfully) as it is the stylus that needs replacing usually rather than the entire cartridge. When the smaller and lighter ranges became avaialbale they went to a cartridge replacement scheme...(darn disposable society!)

I am not sure if you remember as I have been out of the country for some time, but I have the 5 pin B&O |SP cartridge, medogsfat posted a picture up for me a while back. If you are still interested in swapping the unusual one for a normal, let me know your email and I can PM you.

Dead easy - loosen the screw on the cartridge, slide off the old stylus and slip on the new one. Tighten it up and you are there!

Hi guys

Don't worry its not the old chesnut about where to get repacements cartridges!!

I have found an unused SP10 stylus and casing at a jumble sale - the B&O box caught my attention and I was chuffed when I found it. Perfect condition, never out of the plastic casing.

It is solely the stylus casing and needle and not the cartridge, I also have spare cartridge as I have another stylus (whose needle has had its day).

Can I combine the two easily? Or are there things that I need to bear in mind when doing so?

Any tips would be great, as always on this forum, help is much apprecited
