In the Beovox S45 (6312) two different tweeters are used through production.
I have some of both types in stock but I will need to know if yours are
AD 0162 T8
or
AD 0163 T8 ?

I have some original Beovox 2600 woofers in stock (as you know) and I can also help you to an original S45 (6302/6312) woofer. All are used and tested. The same woofer is used in Beovox S45 types 6302 and 6312.

If the S45-2 is cheap, I would be very tempted to get it and use the woofer anyway.

thank you for your quick answer.

Of course you are right the S45-2 are not type 6427 but type 6312. Sorry for misleading.

Your advice on changing the broken S45(type 6302) woofer in pairs with S45-2 was helpful. I only found one S45-2 woofer on eBay, so perhaps I should wait. Ideally I'd like to find a S45(type 6302) woofer for replacement as the other speaker works fine. Hope somthing comes up.

The S45 woofer could well be replaced by an S45-2 woofer - though I would replace in pairs - I'll see if I can fiind out if they changed the driver though I don't think they did. However the S45 Type 6427 is not a S45-2 but the later model which is completely different - foam roll and nothiong like as nice. Don't bother with that one.

Hello,

I'm new on Beowold.

I live in France in the Burgandy area.

I was given three pairs of Beovox speakers (two of which need repair). Along with a Beogram 4002 and a Beomaster 2400.

-The Beovox S60 type 6303 work perfectly. Very nice.

-The Beovox S45 type 6302 has one woofer with the voice coil stuck. I'd like to replace it with an original woofer. Any chance in finding one?? Would a woofer from a Beovox S45-2 type 6427 be ok?? (there's one for sale on ebay)

-The Beovox 2600 type 6224 has one woofer missing. It's a SEAS model. Any chance in finding that.?? Dillen might have one for sale so I might all right.
