&lt;p&gt;The unit is a Velleman kit K2573 - it needs a 10 - 30v clean dc supply and costs about &amp;pound;10 - &amp;pound;12&amp;nbsp; - used to be available thro&amp;#39; Maplin in UK - I purchased mine thro&amp;#39; Conrad.Fr here in France. It took less than an hour to build, more time to figure out the location in the Sony base etc!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;With the 9300 I used it externaly with a separate power feed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I cannot justify aquisition of a B&amp;amp;O unit as my meagre collection of vinyl is old / scratched etc and this unit of course was free!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have a simple circuit for cleaning and stabilising the power supply - if anyone wants a copy pm me!&lt;/p&gt;
