Most people mention, that my voice is much too low when using the headset. Soundlevel of the handset without Earset is ok. Do you have similar experience?

Regards, Jens

Re: BeoCom 6000 (and a brief update on how things are progressing)

The Earset 1 Home is fantastic! I bought a new 6000 to use with it and am delighted with all aspects of its use. The newer Mark II do have the headset socket in the top of the phone.

Re: BeoCom 6000 (and a brief update on how things are progressing)

Hi Simon,

I think that both beocom 4 and beocom 6000 MKII can be connected to an earset with built-in microphone and clipped on your waist. You can

see pictures on the beoworld products. As for speakers I don't believe there is this facility.

http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=788#

http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=783#

Bruno

BeoCom 6000 (and a brief update on how things are progressing)

Am I right in assuming that the BC 6000 does not have a speaker/hands-free option? Just been checking the technical specicifications on the B&O main site and it doesn't seem to offer that functionality. Are there any B&O phones that do? I need to kit out the house with 4 phones. Would find it difficult to use a phone without hands free, especially these days when I am left waiting for ages listening to music when calling the big corporations. The thought of holding the phone to my ear all that time is a dreaded one!

Thanks, Simon.

PS For those waiting for my pics... BV 7-40, speakers and other B&O equipment now put off for at least another 2 months!! Next week a new wooden floor goes down in the lounge and hallway; replacement boiler at the same time as well as B&O guys to pop round and lay some masterlink cabling. Following week tiling the bathroom and kitchen; a couple of doors have to come out the week after, plasterer in and a quick retouch paint job! Soon after that get a couple of bedrooms recarpeted and knowing me, probably start repainting the whol house just for the hell of it. HOPEFULLY the B&O guys can then come round and do their stuff! LOL, to think I am practically rennovating the whole house for my new B&O equipment! The mind boggles, as does the wallet. All good stuff though.
