&lt;p&gt;Edit: Well look what I just found!&amp;nbsp; The turntable is broken, so if you win you can just ask him to mail you the lid.&amp;nbsp; Remember to tell him to pack it very carefully!&lt;/p&gt;

After setting it up and feeling very smug about having such a smart looking, and sounding system, my four year old boy thought the aluminium panel on top of the beogram looked so good that he would use it as a race track for his toy cars. Net result is a not so mint system.While it would be quite easy to polish out the scratches, the obvious problem then would be the patternation of the brushed aluminium would be ruined. I was wondering if it would be possible to get the patternation back by using the appropriate grade of emery cloth (metal sandpaper) and a straight edge, obviously covering all the other surfaces before hand.&lt;/p&gt;
