&lt;p&gt;Well the Beolink converter will translate between Datalink and Materlink. Although I don&amp;#39;t know how it would work in that setup.&lt;/p&gt;

One thing I do know is you cannot set a Beocenter 9000 to option 0 (Disable the I.R. reception) Had this problem myself when I owned one. It was masterlinked to my BV3. If I was listening to a CD it would jump 2 tracks at time. Or if I entered a track number, eg 2.
