&lt;p&gt;Since for example the BV8-40 has a twin tuner build-in, it feels safe to assume that the HDR2 will be sooner rather than later equipped with a twin (also digital) tuner as well. After that it will be called HDR3. The sale on HDR2 as well as the fact that Beo5 mentions HDR3 support this theory. HDR2 is a bit better.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you go for a non B&amp;amp;O device, I really suggest, like Peter that you go for an all-in-one Set top box + HD recorder.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A lot of them are supported by the STB-C or PUC of your TV.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The advantages are big over the direct control through Beo5.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- STB-C works with both Beo4 and Beo5.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- STB-C can control your box from a link room.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- You can use your TV timer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;What would help us helping you, would be to know how you get your TV? Terrestrial? SKY? Cable? Satellite?
