But when I am watching a DVD e.g., I select AC3, which seems operatable by the MAsterlink. Al least setting to AC3 allows sound on the BV1. But when I set on Dolby Digital, the system is quiet. So I don't really understand why the stream from the AE via Toslink is not possible to handly, even it is a Stereo signal.

Re: Airport Express Optical Out into DDS BV3-32

I am afraid no digital sound is transfered via the link system...

Had the same issue with movie sounds.

Ralf

Airport Express Optical Out into DDS BV3-32

Hello,

I would like to hook up the AE directly to one of the two coax digi. inputs backside of the Beovision 3. The DSS handle the sound well and outputs it without any Problems to the connected Beolabs 5000. But I cannot tranfer the sound into the other rooms via Masterlink. Has it to do with the Linear PCM stream coming from the AE? I thought the DSS module converts that into a regular Stereo signal?

Any ideas???
