Yes Yes and Yes.

The Beovox MS150 got state of the art in reviews and every Beovox exept the X series are worth rebuilding if you have too.

I had recently 2 pairs of Beovox S speakers done and now they can laste another 20 odd years. They sound great!

On my Danish B&O personal thread about my collection 2 members have allready gone through refoaming their Beovox MS150 with great succes.

Be good to your B&O and it will be good to you!

I refoamed my own pair of S120s successfully on THIS THREAD. I would imagine the 150s would be a similar task.

A similar task Andy - but about 4 times the amount of work involved!

The 10" subwoofers are monsters and are much harder to get centered compared to the 8" drivers of the S120's. The 8" bass drivers were a very similar job to the one you did though. I recently refurbished a pair of MS150's and simply heaving them around is a task in itself. While I was in there I replaced all of the capacitors in the crossovers - Martin now does a kit based on the info' I sent him from my originals. As usual the capacitor replacement made a big difference and they turned out sounding perfect.

Excellent speakers - I had mine professionally reconed some years ago. They are however not the easiest speaker to sell as they are, as you know, very large and this limits the market somewhat! They do however sound superb with the correct amplifier and are certainly worth fixing. I got mine for free as they were in the same condition as yours! (I was buying the whole system so did pay for the rest!!) I think it cost me about £250-300 which had all the bass cones restored, one tweeter repaired and the cabinets made like new. Well worth it in my opinion.

B&O MS 150 Speakers

I have a pair of MS 150 speakers with stands. These have two woofers, a dome midrange and a dome tweeter. Cosmetically, they are in very good condition. However, the surrounds on all woofers are shot. I think Simply Speakers has repair kits for these. Are these speakers worth repairing for listening or possible resale?
