I did plug headphones into AUDIO with no joy. I also plugged a pair of PHONOS in to the BeoMedia (between CVBS and AUDIO) and the BV5 via a COMPOSITE/SCART adapter. Error message disappeared but so did sound. BeoMedia is connected to an old BV 5 via a CVBS/AUDIO to SCART cable. N.MUSIC and N.RADIO appear to be playing on screen but no sound, just a clicking. I notice when I reboot the BeoMedia I have 5 seconds to select "BeoMedia Recovery," but as I have not had the confidence to connect a keyboard and mouse, it defaults to "BeoMedia." The dealer is convinced it is simply a loose SCART but I don't agree.

Finally, the only documentation I received when I purchased this infuriating black box six months ago was a "Setting-up Guide." I this week received a PDF of a "Getting Started" manual which is so much more useful. Did B & O deliberately not include any useful instructions and should the "Getting Started" manual be added to the site?

Looking forward to your collective expertise.
