I tried to give it option 6 with Avant having option 2 and Beosound having option 0, but it wouldn't work. I then tried to give the MX420 option 2 and then it worked. I have now given it option 6 and it is still working.. Confused?? I am. Still the VCR is not working 100% but I guess I need to change the ariel signal to the MX 4200 from my main installation to the Avant output instead.

Thanks again!!!

Søren

Re: MX4200 VS. It might be worth you looking at the Materlink guide. Press 'Standby' and 'LIST' at the same time on your Beo4 in the same room as the 4200. Then use the 'Up' and 'Down' arrows on the Beo4 to get through to OPTION? on the display. Press 'Go'. Again, using the arrows, get 'V.Opt' on the display. Press 'Go' and press '6'. The standby light on the 4200 should blink to signify that it's received the option command. The CD/Radio/A.Aux/VCR functions should now work.

Also, make sure there aren't any conflicting sources in the 'connections' menu in the 4200.

MX4200 VS. I have recently put up a MX4200 in my bedroom and added the masterlink module to it. I am, however not able to use either the beosound 3000 features through the MX4200 or the VCR from the Avant. Is there something I should "turn on" on the MX4200 to get this working?

Best regards,

Søren, Denmark
