I was being ironic, based on the 2004 -> 2009 wait. It's been a long wait. Too long.

Anyway, this new MKV BV7-32 does sound interesting. Not sure why it needs a HD panel though on a 32"? As I've mentioned, my old BV7-32 was good at displaying SD-based football as the panel wasn't HD.

In fairness Alex, the BV7-32 was released in 2004. In 2009 they ought to have upgraded the TV with HDMI. I think you are being too 'fair'. I mean, how long do we wait?

In all fairness, B&O will have different people working on the body colour and the chassis design! Changing the colour of the body is a very small job in relation to completely re-designing and manufacturing the chassis.

Is it very difficult to integrate HDMI sockets in a chassis that already supports DVI ?

I was under the impression that HDMI (more or less) = DVI + audio, or are there more important differences ?

Exactly. You could connect an external (ie. Sky) box via DVI and the PS3 via component.

It's a shame B&O are spending more time working on making their TVs white, when the number 1 priority ought to be to add HDMI to their best-selling TV! To me, this sounds like B&O think their customers are dimwits and they are more interested in the appearance of their TV and speakers, than the performance. Wrong.
