What BV do you have? I have a BV7 and the menu comes with Up arrow and Down arrow in the Picture mode, to do what you are asking for.

One thing you can do, is:

- Create a new zone in your Beo5 configuration

- Choose a BV7 like video source in this zone.

- In Edit mode, Copy and Paste Up and Down buttons from Picture mode, from the BV7 to your BV.

- Delete the new zone created.

I didn't try it with Sound, but I bet it will work with Picture.

Regards

Re: Beo5 Picture and Speaker adjustment?

Hi Quim.

And thanks a lot for taking time to answer. If I push the right button of the bottom of the screen, I will get Scene, and options for Speaker, Stand and Picture. And if I then push Speaker I will get the Speaker mode, where I can choose from Mode 1 to Mode 5, for 5 speakes. But if I want to listen to 4 speakers, and push the Speaker Mode 4, and then want to change the sound, so there is coming more sound from the front speakers, and less from the rear speakers, I run into problem when I want to use the up and down keys to change the sound. Insted of change the sound, I skip a track. Do you think the Beo5 can be configurated to work like the Beo4.

Again thanks a lot.

Best regards

Carsten

Re: Beo5 Picture and Speaker adjustment?

First welcome to the beoworld Carsten!

I hope you will enjoy your Beo 5 !

Re: Beo5 Picture and Speaker adjustment?

Hello Carsten, and welcome to Beoworld

There are three buttons on the bottom of the screen. The left one, for numbers, the central one, for Return function, and the right one is for Speakers, Stand and Picture mode. When you configure the Beo5 with your setup, if you have more than one speaker, you have to be able to change speaker mode with the right button of the bottom of the screen.

Regards

Beo5 Picture and Speaker adjustment?

Hi.

I have bought a Beo5, and I`m really happy for it. And I was also lucky and got the Beo Configurations tool program. But two things I can`t do, as I can with my Beo4 is to adjust Picture and Speakers. If I have my Beo4 and push LIST, and then PICTURE, and then number 2, it will change to widescreen on my Beovision 3. But sometimes when you do that, you can miss some text in the buttom of the screen, and then you can use the UP and DOWN keys to move the picture. It seems like impossible on the Beo5.. Also when I want to hear sound in 4 speakers through the Surround modul, I can on the Beo4 push LIST, and then SPEAKER, and then number 4,to listen in all 4 speakers. And then I can use the UP and DOWN keys to move the sound from the rear speakers to the front speakers and back again. But when I use the Beo5, and push SPEAKER and then 4, and then try to use the UP and DOWN keys it just change radiochannel or track if I listen to a cd. Does somebody in here know, if it`s possible for the Beo5 to do the same as the Beo4, and if so, do you know the code for it in the Beo Configurations tool program. Hope somebody can help.

I can only say I`m very happy for my beo5, and really like the way you can make small macros. Everytime I turn on the cd or radio, 4 speakers will turn on, and when I push dvd, all 5 speakers will come on. So very pleased.

All the Best

Carsten M.
