Chris,

I am attemtping this right now for testing purposes over in the LinkPlayer thread.

This is just for testing and ultimately will be transplanted to a BS1 (which is basically identical to the US Avant).

Using just my Mac, a BeoPort, and an Avant... I have: G5 -> BP -ML-> Avant

I can control LinkPlayer, but I am not getting any sound on the Avant.

Is there any insight you might be able to offer?

Thanks!

Re: Avant + BeoPort + CX50

Cool - thanks guys!

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the avant (:

Re: Avant + BeoPort + CX50

Hi guys, yes, you can use your BeoPort as an audio master and connect it to your Avant, that's what I was doing until I bought a BV3 (and connected it the same way).

Your Avant should be in V OPTION 2, and your BeoPort in option 0 or 2.

You should have no audio master connected to the system.

Enjoy!

Re: Avant + BeoPort + CX50

Yeah, that might be the solution.
