I think that's somewhat unfair. Unless you're some kind of TV perfectionist, the latest BV7-40 MKIII is a fantastic TV, so is the BV9 and even the old BV5-HD is decent.
One advantage of B&O TVs is that you can upgrade - when the BV7-40 MKIV is out in 2009, I'll be either selling or trading in my TV and paying the extra to upgrade to the new model.

Trouble with that argument is that the latest product on the market is nearly always considered to 'State of the art' or 'perfect'.

Until the next development!

The upgrade option is of course a valid point, but expenditure of thousands is still necessary in the deal.

Does the MK1 MK2 support the HD ready modul?

The MK3 is sell with the HD ready modul inside ? Or option??

Yes, the panel definitely changed. I had a MK1 and it had a 'gloomy' image (looked dark, overcast, lacked brightness). Was lent a MKII or MKIII for a month whilst it was in repair and it was significantly better - at least 25% brighter. I was rather disappointed when I received my fixed MKI after repair ;)

With the rapid changes in TV technology, I suppose this is somewhat inevitable.

The Beovision 7-32 has the following "Type" numbers

Mark I has type numbers 9310 through to 9320
Mark II has type numbers 9321 through to 9329
Mark III has type numbers 9331 through to 9339 plus 9399
The new Beovision 32 without DVD has type numbers 9341 through to 9350

The fundamental change occurred when the Mark III Beovision 7-32 was introduced because it contained the Beosystem 3 chassis. The panels have also been changed.
