I have a selfmade version with 2x 30cm KEF-Speaker compoundsystem and a Thomessen-Poweramplifer-Module.

One chassis is visible and mounted on the outside and the 2nd one acts inside opposite to the outside chassis.

It has the real power you need for lowfrequency playback :-)

We all know: B&O makes good speakers but you can't trick physics. Such small speakers can't have real bass power.

If you wish I can make a photo compared to the Beosound 6000.

it depends on your active subwoofer: If it has autosense-function (or however the manufacturer calls this feature) it will power on as soon as it "hears" s.th. on the linesignal. I have a non B&O subwoofer in my setup, too and it works fine.

The only "problem" could be the crossover frequency. So it would be nice if your subwoofer supports adjustable crossover frequencies; this prevents your subwoofer and your speakers from interfering with each other.

Hi, sorry for the delay, just saw your post!

Just connect this cable to one of your Powerlink outputs and connect one or both RCA plugs to the Line Input on your sub. Job done!

You can use any spare Powerlink output, either on the BeoSound or one any of the speakers, as all Powerlink sockets contain both left and right audio signals.

hi need some help .i have beosound 4 need 2 conect rel t3 sub how do i get round converting din 2 phono and is that the best way ? also do i conect from unit or speakers?
