&lt;p&gt;This really is good news, and I&amp;#39;m sorry it has took me so long to comment on it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Am I right in thinking that this now facilitates the use of Beo 5 to control B&amp;amp;O equipment that is not Beolink 1000 compatible?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The late 80s Beomaster 5000 (MCP) and the Beomaster 3000 (Terminal 3000) spring to mind; or even the earlier beautiful Beomaster 8000.&lt;/p&gt;
