On the Beocenter 2500, which is similar, the timer can only be programmed via a 2 way remote. If you have a recent Beovision then, the Beovision can be used to start the radio or CD at a certain time. p.

Oh....but really a bit disappointing on that! I got a timer funcion with my beocenter 9500, which I normally use it as my alarm clock. Now may be I need to switch back to my old set up, and this 2300 can go to another room may be.

2 way is possible - check for 2 sensors on the lower part.

You need a BL 7000 or BL 5000 to use it...

I also have a dim memory that if the set is two way, there may be some chance of programming. I may however be wrong here. I attach the sleep timer page.

I'm surprised to read that BC2300 has a sleep timer, as this is excactly what I was looking for on this unit, because I often hear radio to fall asleep and nothing is more unpleasant than playing the radio the whole night long.

I will try sleep function as soon as I got home from work

As far as I am aware, there is only a stop timer in the 2300 which allows you to set the radio to switch off after a variety of times. This bis activated by pressing Radio then Stop a number of times - the desired time is shown on the display. Probably not what you wanted to hear. Sorry.

Hi everyone, I had just bought a beocenter 2300 from ebay few weeks ago. Looking through the whole manual, I cant find anything related on how to switch on the timer function. Allow me to ask a silly question, does beocenter 2300 got any timer function at all, if yes, how can I switch it on??
