I can't say too much about this, but, yes, we are working on "architectural" speakers (in-wall and in-ceiling) that are very high-performance and that use the Acoustic Lens (which we have licensed back from B&O for this application). If the current financial turmoil allows, we expect to roll them out next summer or fall. I think they are tremendous!

They are Sausalito Audio products. However, we have continued to share R&D with B&O. Beyond that, I can't tell you anything more about plans. Sorry! However, when the time is right . . .

As far as I've been informed, B&O have exclusive rights to acoustic lens technology.

I especially like the phrase that Smith used

Fits nicely with the phrase I have heard you say describing your work with "loudspeaker music"

Thank you for posting that Dave. Makes me want a pair even more but I am about to invest in a trumpet instead! Hopefully one day, it will make a sound worthy to be played via BL5s!

BeoLab 5 speakers in concert

At the beginning of November, noted conductor Paul Henry Smith introduced his Fauxharmonic Orchestra to the public, conducting some standard repertoire performed by BeoLab 5s and Fauxharmonic software. Three concerts (in Baltimore and New York) were given, and details are provided below.

I was pleased and honored to be able to provide some technical assistance for this effort, and was really glad that B&O of USA was able to help out with a loan of speakers. Hopefully, there will be much more. Paul Henry Smith is a very talented guy!

A concert review in the New Yorker magazine may be coming soon.

National Public Radio's "Morning Edition" was very interested in covering the event but could not spare a reporter due to the election coverage demands. However, today they contacted me to ask when we will have another event like this one. They really want to do something on it. They reach 13 million listeners daily, so I think this would be a great opportunity to pursue for covering my upcoming concerts.

I hope this is of interest.
