You can use A.TAPE/A.MEM for the BS 9000. This will also open the AUX in. But for BS 4...??

Stefan

Re: BeoLab 2000 won't start A.AUX..

Try adding A-N.RA to the beo4 and try that. If this works, you will notice the BS9000/BS4 will have PHONO or N.RADIO or N.MUSIC on the display, but this option works for me as my link room mx4002 wont activate A.AUX on the 9000 unless the 9000 already has A.AUX selected. But using A-N.RA does.

Let us know if you have any joy.

Re: BeoLab 2000 won't start A.AUX..

Yes, strange. You are right. My BL 2000 reacts in the same way. Nothing happens when I press A.AUX. I never noticed that, because I don`t need this source in the kitchen. All the audio sources, RADIO, CD, N.MUSIC, N.RADIO....work. BL 2000 is in L.OPT 6 and connected to a BS 9000. It is possible to activate A.AUX from BS 9000 direct in the main room.

Stefan

Re: BeoLab 2000 won't start A.AUX..

Hi,

welcome to BeoWorld !

Does the Beolab 2000 in the bathroom have the correct Option setting ?

Option 6

BeoLab 2000 won't start A.AUX..

Hi all..

Long time reader.. First time poster..

I have just bought an Apple Airport Express, and connected it to my BeoSound 4 DAB. It is connected to the AUX in, and it works like a charm in all rooms except one.

Living Room: Connected to BeoSound 4 and BeoVision 7, starts by pressing A.AUX on the BEO4 remote.

Bedroom: BeoVision MX4200 with MasterLink, starts by pressing A.AUX on the BEO4 remote.

Kitchen: BeoLab 3500, starts by pressing A.AUX on the BEO4 remote.

But..

Bathroom: BeoLab 2000, nothing happenes when pressing A.AUX on the Beo4. I can press the "Play"-button on the BL2000, and it will play the source, if alreay started from another room.

Is there no way the BeoLab 2000 (the Tape-button version) will play A.AUX with remote? . I have tried adding sourches in the Beo4-list, but nothing seems to work (N.RADIO, N.MUSIC, A.TAPE2, A.MEM2). Even tried with a BeoLink 1000 i have.

Furthermore, I remember when i bought my BeoLab 2000 (got it used in a trade for some service), I found a guide somewhere, making me able to change the command of the "Tape"-button, which would start my BS4 A.MEM, but could be (via remote) changed to act like the TV-button. - Does anyone know/remember theese commands?

Thank's in advance...
