I think there is an adjustment screw but you will need to join as a silver or gold member to download the service manual. It is a minor adjustment required.

Hi all,

Can someone help me with a problem I'm having with a BS1? The CD lid mechanism seems to be touching the CD slightly so that when it is spinning it makes this rattling noise. if I use my fingertips to hold up the lid slightly then the rattling stops. is there something I can tighten or do to make the rattling stop?

PLEASE HELP.
