I doubt this being genuine. I'm sure that B&O won't launch any new MP3 player.

Working with a brand name :

a) Shows that the student understands and can use the brand identity for his work : he proves that he can work for the brand and create new concepts that are totally in line with the current portfolio, brand history, etc.

b) Helps to create some buzz on the internet to become famous. Ora ïto started with that : at the beginning the brands that he used for his designs wanted to take him to justice for the prejudice... And after they realised that his designs were interesting, and now they pay a lot for him!

I've done it myself from time to time and will certainly continue to do so!

Concerning the concept shown, it's clearly a student/amateur work considering the quality of the image, and the fact that the point a) is missed.

The black is too shiny to be B&O (the serene etc are more matt)

The silver is too matt to be B&O (the BS2 etc are shiny or brushed)

Overall though, it's a brilliant design and I would probably go for it, except that the battery on something that size/shape would be be either too small or custom and stupidly expensive. Also, I doubt you could fit an SD card in there

I think it is fake, by looking at the head phone plug, because it does not look like the one of a A8. But doens anyone know?
