I have to agree.

I'm in Southern California but I'll have to keep my eyes open for a pair here to avoid the internatiional shipping costs.

Maybe someone who has one will see this posting and let me know.

I think you have answered your own question, it will always bug you a little if you don't have the original stands!

I am not sure where you are located, but on UK Ebay a set of S45-2s with original stands will often fetch less than a set of stands sold separately, so it is worth keeping an eye out and getting a spare pair of speakers into the bargain.

The type number of the S45-2 speaker is T6312 and the stand is T6013. The later S45 is T6427 and the stand is T6017.

Are you certain you have the S45-2 and not the S45? the type number on both of my pairs is 6312.

That is the stand for the later model - it fits the later S45. S55 and S80. It will fit the S45-2 as the bolt holes are the correct spacing but is quite a bit taller and in my view makes them look a little strange.

Hi,

I recently purchased a nice pair of S45-2 speakers and need to buy a pair of stands for them.

I have an opportunity to purchase a nice pair that the seller says will work with the S45 speakers but I have heard that these might not work with the S45-2's. The product number on the speakers is 6017.

Any advice will be appreciated.
