Then re-connect the mains first, then switch the handets back on. I find that usually helps the handsets to re-establish connection ot the base.</p><p>The mark 1 handsets are switched by holding down the &quot;dot&quot; button to the left of the wheel for about 7 seconds until the display says &quot;power off&quot;. Unplug the PSTN base for 10 minutes and see if this makes a difference. Same when I press Caller ID.</p><p>&nbsp;What may have happen?
