Then re-connect the mains first, then switch the handets back on. I find that usually helps the handsets to re-establish connection ot the base.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The mark 1 handsets are switched by holding down the &amp;quot;dot&amp;quot; button to the left of the wheel for about 7 seconds until the display says &amp;quot;power off&amp;quot;. Unplug the PSTN base for 10 minutes and see if this makes a difference. Same when I press Caller ID.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;What may have happen?
