AH!! Thank you so much! My mistake was that there was a disc in the machine, i took it out and did that, and voila! It works, Thanks!

Apparently there was a problem where the region would not change and I am informed using the following sequence should solve the problem:-

With the DVD disk tray empty, SELECT DVD

If the tray comes out, close it by touching the load field on the set and wait for 15 seconds

Select SETUP then Select service mode by pressing STOP STOP GO

Select the DVD field and then select the region you want and press GO

Within 20 seconds the screen should turn blue. This indicates that region has been successfully changed. If it does not turn blue then the region was not stored.

Press STANDBY

Hey guys I'm really at a loss here my BC1 from Lee was region 0, but the DVD's from the video store aren't working, it says that the region coding of the disc does not match that of the player. I went into the service menu to change it to my region 4, and still no avail, it is in region 4, but it still doesn't work - i don't get it!!

What do i do? Pleasehelp :(
