BC1 TV OPTION 2 and BS2300 OPTION 0 ?

Re: simple question?

PhilLondon:

Like Dave, I would recommand that you link the two together.

You need a Beolink converter and a masterlink cable as well as a datalink cable, and a fully cabled powerlink cable.

I would also connect all speakers to the TV.

The downsides of this suggested configuration:

- Loss of 2 way remote control, but it is not a problem for you as you have a Beo4

- No possibility to start an audio recording manually, but you have no tape.

- Loss of the Aux socket on your BC2300, but you can always connect a audio device on a Scart socket.

You'd get a better integration.

You'd still get the sound of the TV on the TV speaker but you'd be able to turn the external speakers as well.

When you get extra speaker, you may want to install some link rooms as well. This new setup is more ready for it.

p.

I'm waiting for BL8000, and I will do exactly how you told me. Bs2300 - converter 1611 - materlink BC1. BC1 - BL8000

But I'm interested how I make setup work ?

I heard that I need to setup TV for OPTION 2 and BS2300 OPTION 0 ? Is this correct ?

I want to listen radio from Bs2300 - when I press radio on beo4 to turn on BS2300.

And how I change speakers when I watching TV ?

Uh.... to many questions :)

I think you got the same one as i did, on the tall stand from Lifestyle AV? The sound is pretty good mainly when it's turned up loud.

The AV + Radio pressing on the Beo4 should fix your problem... yoou should link them with master ink so they work together, you still enjoy the sound from the telly - masterlink is really quite clever.

Re: simple question?

Aha I see,

So that setup Alex told me will work this way RADIO-bc2300, AV+RADIO - bc1 ?

I didnt connect BC2300 with BC1 cos tv has outstanding sound !

Re: simple question?

In that case that would work.

RADIO would turn the BS 2300 on.

AV + RADIO would turn the BC1 radio on.

Why have you not connected the 2, do not want to listen to the TV sound on the BS speakers sometimes?

p.

Re: simple question?

My speakers are not conected with BC1.

BC1 is stand alone and BC2300 is connected with speakers.

So my problem is how can I control wich device to turn on?

Of course I dont want to disable radio on BC1.

Thanks

Re: simple question?

This solution would not work if all speakers were connected to the BC1.

I believe there is another way to do it with the BC1.
