Yep, you want them with the speakerlink connections, which I believe all versions to have. The Penta I's also have 'bare wire' type inputs too, which may or may not be advantageous for you.

The displays won't work though, no matter which versions you choose.

Avoid the Beovox versions.... The Beomaster 3000 amplifier is pretty anaemic at the best of times.

I have penta II's, and they are equipped with speakerlink connector. Should work with your beosystem. Don't hold me to it though. ;)

Hi everybody.

I have a Beosystem 3000 and was wanting to purchase a set of penta speakers. Can anybody tell me which of the Pentas (I II or III) will work best with the system?
