no worries about glass falling out the foam recently split and both panels were re attached with double sided tape the unit was placed on a very soft persian type rug swo no probs from scratches etc there

Nicely customized BC setup. Although i wouldn't dare to put my BC's glass-side against any surface. :) I've read so many stories here about the glass panel falling off of equipment it almost scares me to have the BC on hand of my roommates since they really don't see the difference between pressing and touching. >.< The other thing they don't understand is my interest and affection for B&O equipment but that i more or less understand. ;)

note the system is currently on an ikea based fitment which is temporary also using temp wharfedale diamond 7's - pentas passives are the first choice

the wedges are also sort of crude will eventually be tidied up etc

hi there

ihave a bc9300 located about 3"(75mm)above the floor on a shelf - the unit is supported on 2 x wedge shaped pieces about 1"(25mm) thick - the rear height is 3.25"(80mm) and the front is about 0.25"(6mm) -this arrangement imho shows the unit off to advantage - think the angle is about 25 degrees!

the wedges are held in place by double sided tape and located just inboard of the front rubber feet in a front to rear arrangement - the wedges also have small neoprene feet on the underside to prevent sliding around - can't load pics hte batts in the camera need charging however if you want pics let me know and i'll give you a link to photobucket

B&O always said that these Beocenters should be flat on a shelf or similar. Wall mounting is not possible as the cd mech is not fixed in place inside the unit.

Medogsfat did wall mount one a few years back at approx 35 degrees with success. Worth sending him a PM

BeoCentre 9xxx Wall Mounting

Hi, I'm thinking of relocating one of my BeoCentres and want to wall mount it and have a couple of questions about that.

1. Did B&O ever do an official wall mount for these?

2. I seem to rememebr somewhere in the dim and distant past that somwone 'made' their own one that was at 45 degrees- any infor?

3. Any other suggestions? - and if it to go where I want it can't sit on anything as such......... :-(

Or do I just have to get a shelf built?!?!?!?
