Sounds like a masterlink or MCLconnection problem. Can you try other cables?

I assume that the 9500 performs as it should with the speakers connected direct?

When you say a control box do you mean a type 1611 converter?

Just to be sure: Ypour 9500 is connected to the Avant via a 1611 and the speakers are connected to the Avant? When you watch TV sound is coming from btoh the speakers and the TV? But when you listen to Cd or radio sound is only coming from the 4000?

If that is the way it works then everything is working just perfect. This is how it should be. But you can control it with your Boe4. Press "List" til you see "Speaker" in the display. Then press "3" and sound will come from both the connected 4000 speakers and the TV. Press "2" and only the speakers will be on.

I have connected my 9500 to my Avant28 and beo4000 speakers with a control box and masterlink cable. However, I can only get sound through the r/h speaker when playing radio or tapes. The TV works perfectly through both speakers. Any ideas?
