Do you have a filter fitted? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Also my broadband wireless router installed near to my PSTN base sometimes causes crackling interference. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I think BT recommend fitting a standard wired phone into your master socket and if the crackling is present then it&amp;#39;s a BT problem. If not then it&amp;#39;s internal. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hope this helps. It is intermittant and occasional but so annoying.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Checked via BT website and no fault so any ideas what this could be?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The crackling does affect all phones which are registered against the same pstn.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;thanks!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
