Both of these CD&amp;nbsp;players have a lovely warm tonal quality and are always worth putting some effort into to bring back to full working order. &lt;/p&gt;

There&amp;#39;s a&amp;nbsp;group of caps near the power supply area. If bad, they will affect the&amp;nbsp;muting circuit etc. and the symptoms you describe is typical of marginal caps &amp;quot;warming up&amp;quot;. After about 3 minutes there is some sound but it is incredibly distorted. If I wait another 30 seconds or so the distortion disappears and it works perfectly.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This only happens when it has been on standby for a while, if it has only been put on standby for a few mins it still works fine.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I am pretty sure it is not the Beomaster as the problem does not happen with other sources.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Any ideas?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Simon&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
