Not sure if the same works with a windows based system but I have hooked up my iMac with the Beoport box to the ML network and can control iTunes with both the Beo4 and my iPhone (much better to choose music from a library with a two-way-remote) at the same time. So best of both worlds :-)

That is pretty cool actually :)

The advantage it has over the AirTunes is that you can control everything with your beoX I guess.

Personally, I guess I would prefer a system that didnt require my mac on, but you cant have it all at once I guess :)

It actually wakes up my Mac from sleep mode... so it can probably do the same on a PC.

I am doing this by using BeoPort, which is a black box connecting a PC/Mac to a BeoSound using USB + analogue audio as input and MasterLink as output. You will thus need a BeoPort and some MasterLink cable between the box and your BeoSound. It is almost plug and play, and easy to use.

It is however difficult to retain overview of many MP3's, as the BeoSound does not give you any feed back. You will be able to step between tracks and play lists, and change the volume of cause.

The BeoPort will also add N.RADIO to your system giving you thousands of radio programmes to chose between.

I bought my BeoPort because I wanted to listen to MP3s, and I do this from time to time, but I never imagine how useful the N.RADIO function is, and I use this function now more than the MP3s.

You need a black box called Beolink PC2.

It connects to your PC via USB and via a mini Jack. It connects to your BS9000 via a Masterlink cable (which can be very long, so the computer can be in another room).

You install a software on your PC from the B&O website, a sort of iTunes. You load all your MP3s in it.

You can then control N.MUSIC and N.RADIO from every room where you have B&O equipment.

Buy your Beolink PC2 second hand, like on lifestyle or on ebay.

Does somebody have any experiences with playing MP3 files from PC via BS9000 MKIII N.MUSIC function? What would I need to be able to do this? Can I control playing of MP3s via Beo4?
