I use my BeoCom 2500 nearly everyday. Trying to utilize the speakerphone function without feedback is a real challenge.

I'm glad to know there is an update. (Crossing my fingers they eliminate the feedback.)

I hear even the room at the dealer meeting will be all white! Maybe they will play "White Rabbit" or White Wedding" it's a little early for "White christmas" . It's better than White noise on white speakers!

Hope all the video will not be in black and White.

All speakers are going to be introduced in white, including the BL 5´s. Dont know about the limited edition, think it will depend on the popularity. I myself would not want white speakers, with the exception of maybe BL3´s hanging on my kitchen wall.

I read that too but in Dansk / Danish.

Not BEOCLOCK, but BEOROCK, or RUNEN as in Rune Stone. I think something was missing in the translation.

Surfing around, I found another site with this item. Just as the much awaited 5 Digital unit, this one has been undergoing trial tests in North America for the past year, perhaps elswhere in the world. The site states that the new device, albeit disguised, is very accurate for what it is intended to do.

I read somewhere in the forum that there will be a "BeoClock" (not a promotional item but a high end clock). Will this clock be shown at the dealer coference?

Has someone seen it? Pictures, functions, price, release?

BC5 has a handset. About same price as BC6000. Release date next year.

You will be allright with the 32. I would expect the BV8 40 to be more expensive since it will have more features, i.e. 2 HDMI and maybe surround as it was rumored earlier.

The only thing that would have made me rethink my decision would have been a BV7 32 with integrated BS3 which is not going to happen.

Shucks, and I just purchased a BV8-32" (maybe I did the right thing, and the 40" won't be launched in the US for a while). Argh! Well, knowing me, I have waited this long, and being impatient, I don't think I'd have waited a few more months only to find that the 40" would be between $1000 and $2000 more than the 32" which would have affected my purchasing decision anyway.

New speakerphone: Finally !

As someone who has every model of Beocom in the last 20 years, a hand held speakerphone is something that has been missing from the Beocom inventory for sometime.

I look forward to it.

Spoke with my dealer this afternoon. He was really amazed about BS5. Soundquality is great. They have invented and patented a new technoligy to ensure that. BM1 is part of the BM5 and makes it possible to store pics etc. What we have been told so far is a fact. It will be launched november.
