But that is not an easiest/cheapest option.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ok, the ps3 costs more than a second hand DVD controller and a separate DVD player. But it handles DVD&amp;#39;s fine and has the advantage of streaming videocontents via the pc, internet or mediadevice. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have a ps3 also connected to a avant RF DVD. And it works fine. I&amp;#39;ve bought a beamer which is connected&amp;nbsp;through hdmi if&amp;nbsp;I want the real thing.
