Are you being cheeky? The AV9000's design is absolutely amazing for it's time and B&O are still using most of it's design brief which says alot, but the BV5's design is incredible! Best looking TV ever IMO...

If the ouverture is the unit that originally came with the AV9000, (MPAV9000) then it won't work with any other TV

At a guess, the 7 will be a relatively early one so I would get the 5. If you can get an HD ready one, it has a great picture and is almost as stylish as your AV9000. Your system will work perfectly with either set.

Hi All

I have a beosystem av900 with a pair of 8000's and 6000's

I am looking to replace the TV ideally with either a Beovision 5 or 7 (42") I have noticed that the used prices are almost the same for both so any direction on which is the best ? - I know little about the LCD V Plasma debate

Lastly am I correct in thinking my speakers and ouverture will work with either of the new TV's?
