The kind man from Beocare talked me through the 4500's disassembley and helped me get it working. Thank you everyone.

They should appear when you touch the green GOTO

the options you have :

- < / > : auto search

- 0-9 : manually enter the frequency

- AM/FM : switch bands

- STORE : store current frequency

and so on.

Do you have the manual ?

Huh. Well the touch panel glass on my bm is damaged and isnt secured all the way. When I push a button it ocaisionally requires an unusual amount of pressure.

Yes, they are.

You use them to tune the radio and store settings.

The BM4500 shows the available buttons after you press PROGRAMMING.

When attempting to tune it (BM4500) via touch panel, according to the manual picture, I do not have some of the buttons depicted in the manual on my touch panel. Such as "GO TO", "STORE" (they are displays in green however), or the "<" & ">", just volume up and down arrows.

They appear in green when you touch PROGRAMMING

These are buttons. They only appear when needed, and yes - they are green.

Is A.SETUP already added to the List ?

Although not directly relevant to tuning,

it is handy for adjusting bass/treble/loudness/balance/sound store.

So I called BeoCare yesterday and the gentleman on the other end of the line told me that in the list for radio there should be a button that's called "Go To". I never found it, even after looking through the "add?" list I couldn't find that either.

i read the bit about the tv > v. setup > tune and it appeared as described, but did not work... if not which link?

You're correct, but it would be nice to be able to search/scan/ radio stations and store from the Beo4 something which was possible with the 1000.

I had a BM 4500 before and as far as I remember you don't need a rc to set the stations. You can use the panel of the BM to do so. Just look at this.
