If you assign a scart to CDV compact disc video (DVD) press shift>sat to access. Vtape 2 it will be shift>vtape. Sat and vtape have their own source buttons.

nice to see a very structured and clean forum. :) didnt take me long to find this thread. and i have the same problem as the topic say.

Recently got a beovision lx5500 and a beolink 1000 from a freind that has upgraded his beo system. so i was very happy, and this christmas i got a ps3...

So: i tried the combination,(shift), (text) and found the menu. seem to be a switch between the to av-inputs.

but with no succes.

i select the 1 input, and press play, to store. but nothing happens... there shouldn't be any difrences between av1 or av2 right?

anyhow, im not familiar to old eq like this...and actually im not used to pay for a manual this old.

I have never owned any Beo prodocts before, dont really know anything about the "standard" functions of either the tv set or the remote..

could somebody refer me to a manual somwhere thats free or help me with this...?

i mean i like the tv! the sound is great and picturecontrols are very good. but with no manual it's like rolling a dice..

I have Beolink 1000 Mk 2 remote and two different scart adapters for the PS3, the one which game with the Playstation doesn't have all the pins on the scart end so I bought a second one with all pins. Neither worked (tried on AV1 and AV2) and trust me I have pressed all the buttons on the remote including V.TAPE but to no avail.

Is there anything I still could do to get the MX to recognize the PS3?

BR, Timo
