No video it´s a BeoSound not center. But my dealer said photo. I will not judge the pricetag yet but from what I´ve been told it should be okay.

I was told over £4000 in the UK, which sounds about right if you convert the EUR down to pounds sterling.

It's going to have to be a rather compelling device for me to justify a £4000+ purchase to play back compressed audio. I'm going to pay a visit to my dealer soon to see if I can find out more info. Although I already know what the answer will be, I was hoping it was going to be a large central media storage unit for audio, video and photos - use the controller or the Beo4 to find your favourite movie, audio track or photo and display through your TV.

Mind you, I guess with no HD link system, you couldn't store a HD video using the unit and play back in full quality as B&O do not currently have a link system to support this !

I am wondering if you can have a TV, a "Normal" Beo Hifi, AND a Beosound/Beomaster 5 in the same system...

I am sure I will like the Beosound 5/Beomaster 5... I am starting to wonder how much I should be saving to be able to afford it.

Got confirmation that demo units will be in shops in October and that it will be on sale only later.

iTunes compatibility is a good news as well.

I hope the Beosound 5 will look similar to te new Loewe Individual Mediacenter:

I believe that some of us have described it really good but I agree that we were used to photoshops and sometimes real pics of the new products. We will probably see it for the first time in the new main catalogue. I expect to see it later this month in Struer at the general meeting.Unfortunately we will not be able to buy before next marts but a demo unit will be in the shops november / december 2008.

I'm surprised we haven't had any photos or even photoshops of the new BeoMaster 5 here on BeoWorld seeing as its release date is supposedly very soon. Usually we manage to find something ... somehow. I am very curious to see what it looks like and to learn more about its functions.

From what I've heard, BeoMaster/Sound 5 is really worth the wait it's been. I've been optimistic, and I'm really looking forward to seeing it. Hopefully we'll get some sneak-previews relatively soon...
